ℹ About 30 years ago, a Japanese hybridizer named Toichi Itoh succeeded in crossing tree peonies with herbaceous peonies—adding new colours and shades to the peony palette. A botanical curiosity, these intersectional or "Itoh" hybrids have the leaves and flowers of tree peonies, but die back to the ground in the fall like herbaceous plants. An incredibly rare and highly sought-after specialty plant! Scrumdiddlyumptios produces perhaps the most beautiful flowers of all Itoh peonies. Widely considered one of the most beautiful of its category, Scrumdiddlyumptious is sought after by gardeners and pros alike. Big, showy blooms grow to 6" in diameter and are coloured a warm creamy yellow with a glowing pink blush and pink edges. Mid-late season peony will provide upwards of 50 blooms in late spring- early summer for several weeks thanks to the many side buds that open in sequence. Enjoy the pleasant mild fragrance and stunning beauty of this amazing peony in your garden this season!
