Beni-Maiko is a rare and award winning dwarf Japanese Maple which produces scarlet-red leaves in early spring, which age to a dazzling pink with lime green undertones! In Fall, leaves turn a deep magneta-red which spreads to the centre of the leaf until the whole leaf lights up! The rare and unique combination of three-lobed and five-lobed leaves with it's small mature stature of about 6 feet tall and unique colours makes Beni Maiko highly desirable. Beni Maiko is considered the most brilliant of all the Japanese Maples, and in 2012 solidified that when it won the RHS Award of Garden Merit. This stunning dwarf Japanese Maple makes a great Bonsai candidate, grows well in patio containers or as a specimen in the landscape! You won't want to miss a minute of this beautiful specimens wondrous display as it provides a new show with each new seasons arrival! A truly special plant that is sure to provide charming character where ever you plant it!
