You don't have to live in Australia or California to grow the exotic kiwi fruit, because we have the 'Arctic Beauty,' a Russian native that is hardy to -40c! This beautiful vine loves light shade to full sun, and quickly spreads to cover an arch, trellis or garden wall. In spring, its leaves are strikingly variegated with pink, white and green! The truly sweet and delectable fruit is about twice the size of a grape, with lime-green flesh and smooth, edible skin. That means no hassle of peeling required as with grocery store kiwis! Not often do you find a plant that has such outstanding edible AND ornamental qualities like this, all in one package. You won't find these gems on any grocery store shelves and they are lucky to make it to farmers markets when they taste this darn good! Ripens by September. Requires both male and female for cross pollinating,
