ℹ Now double the flower power with this absolutely amazing 2-tiered Coneflower!!! Many years ago, German plantsman Eugen Schleipfer found an Echinacea plant that looked very different than the others. 'Double Decker' is the result from years of selective breeding and is a very reliable strain with stunning rose-magenta two-tiered flowers! A set of shorter petals rests on top of the cone like a royal crown while a "skirt" of longer, petals emerge from the base of the cone creating an out of this world look in the garden! Mass plant for a breathtaking effect! Like all coneflowers, 'Double Decker' is deer, drought, and poor soil tolerant while attracting hoards of your favourite pollinators and hummingbirds! Similar seed strains such as 'Indiaca' and 'Indianer' exist, but 'Doubledecker' is the one that comes directly from Eugen Schleipfer's work. Get ready to do a double-take on 'Doubledecker'!
