ℹ Chippewa blueberries are noted for their earliest production of large light blue sweet and oh so juicy blueberries that ripens in mid summer. Lovely bell shaped white blooms in springs mature into a heavy crop of delicious berries that are perfect for fresh eating, baking, freezing, cooking and preserves. The glossy green leaves turn a beautiful orange--red display in the fall. Self pollinating but will yield larger crops when cross pollinated. Prefers moist, peaty, acidic, well drained soil.
