ℹ The Variegated Pink Lemonade Tree is an extraordinary and rare citrus specimen, captivating plant lovers with its distinct and impressive qualities. At its core lies the exceptional flavor and appearance of its fruits! A unique delight with a stunning nearly seedless pink flesh beneath intriguing green variegated skin, this amazing lemon cultivar offers an exceptional sweet and tangy citrus taste that elevates all culinary experiences! Beyond its fruits exquisite taste and appearance, the tree's beautiful fragrant pink flowers and variegated foliage stands out boldly with leaves adorned in a mesmerizing blend of pink yellow and white, making it a striking ornamental and edible addition to any setting! To successfully cultivate this botanical rarity in Canada, they are easily grown in pots, which are moved indoors before frost and placed outdoors during the growing season on a sun drenched patio, balcony or deck. Adequate sunlight, well draining soil, and proper fertilization will ensure you get to reap a continued successful harvest. Enjoy its amazing fruits, heavenly fragrance and beautiful foliage inside during the winter months and in your outdoor haven during the growing season!! Harvesting time for lemons is fairly flexible. Lemons harvested early will have a higher acid content compared to lemons that are allowed to ripen longer on the tree. The color of the fruit is the best indicator for harvest. When the peel is bright yellow and the variegation starts to slightly fade, they are ready to harvest. The lemons can stay on the tree much longer until they begin to turn pink. At this point, they will be much sweeter and less acidic. With 2 main flushes of blooms in spring and fall as well as varying ripening times for each fruit this tree typically produces fruit year round, with peak fruiting occurring during the warmer months, allowing staggered picking through out the year. Note: the exact fruiting pattern may vary based on growing conditions and care.
