ℹ An early bloomer with large dark red to black cherries that are sweet yet slightly acidic. Fruit matures in late summer to early fall and are excellent for eating and processing (cooking, baking, and making jams and jellies). Fragrant white flowers in mid spring, followed by dark red cherries. Produces fewer suckers than other cherry varieties. Green foliage throughout the season turning to a yellow colour in fall. Vigorous and hardy with a small, compact, rounded form. Self pollinating but heavier yield when planted with a different varieties with the same bloom time.
