ℹ Medialle D'or is a traditional French bittersweet cider variety, originating in the 19th century. It flowers and ripens very late, with yellow-gold skin and has excellent cider qualities. This apple produces a fruity juice with high alcohol content and is very high in tannins. It makes a great single-variety cider. Pollinate with Dabinett or Kingston Black Apple.
